Short of Noam Chomsky doing a reading of his collected works could the Emmy Awards have skewed anymore to the Left?
1) Al Gore wins an Emmy. 'Nuff said.
2) The Daily Show wins the award for "best variety program." Variety apparently does not refer to its political leanings.
3) D-List star Kathy Griffin and her "suck it, Jesus" comment. Maybe "D-List" stands for "damned and goin' to hell ?"
4) Sally Field managed to be both profane and foolish. According to her,"If the mothers ruled the world, there would be no [GD] wars in the first place."
So do you think Lady Thatcher watches much American TV.
5)David "blackout" Chase gave us,"And, hell, let's face it, if the world and this nation was run by gangsters" — Chase paused and shrugged, as the audience laughed — "maybe it is."
That is why The Sopranos was know as such a hilarious show.
