But I think the sad part about all this is that Larry Craig had to go to a public place — if it’s true, if he is gay — he had to go to a public place, and that’s the shame of homosexuality in this country right, today — at least the shame that the Republican Party puts on it.”
Let's examine this odd sentence piece by piece.
1) The "shame" which has lain on homosexuality throughout Judeo-Christian history we suddenly find has been placed on it.........by the Republican Party.
2) The "sad part" of the story is apparently not a married man trying to engage in anonymous sex with a member of his own gender.
No, it's the fact that he chose an airport restroom.
3) "He had to go to a public place." Ms. Dhue it is here that I would like to inform you of a little thing we have in this part of the country (and I hear elsewhere) called the......Motel.
You see it's a combination of the word "motor" and the word "hotel."
